SEISMIC DESIGN PROJECT

Comprehensive lateral seismic design of a 12-story residential building utilizing Special Reinforced Concrete Shear Walls. Modeled in RAM Structural System and SAP2000 per ACI and LATBSDC, the analysis integrates Equivalent Lateral Force (ELF) and Modal Response Spectrum workflows alongside drift, diaphragm force, and irregularity verifications. Critical first-floor shear walls and boundary elements were detailed using spColumn to ensure full seismic ductility and code compliance.
